When a patient first visits  our office, we will carefully and thoroughly review his or her present condition, medical history and current lifestyle.  We will then take the patient’s measurements to ensure that the device that will be fabricated will be comfortable and effective.  We make every effort to explain each step of the process clearly and thoroughly to every patient.

     Once the device has been completed, the patient will return to the office for a fitting.  Any required adjustments will be made to ensure that the device will fit properly and provide the maximum amount of support and activity.  We will clearly and thoroughly review all of the instructions for the use and maintenance of the device and advise the patient of any follow-up treatments or visits that may be required.  We will also advise the patient’s family of any special needs or allowances that may be    required as the  patient adjusts to using the device.
